immersive art, journaling, movement and joy to mind your soul

In March
Pisces + The Divine Echo

Themes: Dreaming | Dissolving | Water | Soul Depth

WHEN
Sunday, March 1, 2026
1:00PM–5:30PM

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

This half-day art and yoga retreat weaves together gentle movement, breathwork, meditation, and dream-inspired watercolour practice. Pisces invites us to soften, dissolve, and listen, turning inward toward imagination and intuitive knowing.

The afternoon begins with a flowing yoga sequence to attune the body to slowness and fluidity. Guided breathwork settles the nervous system before moving into intuitive mark-making, soft watercolour layering, and seascape-inspired expression. Ambient soundscapes support a quiet drift into creativity, allowing images and emotions to rise naturally.

No artistic experience is needed, only a willingness to follow where the water leads.

For March/April
Aries + Stoking The Flame

Themes: Initiation | Spark | Courage | Fire

WHEN
Sunday, March 29, 2026
1:00PM–5:30PM

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

A dynamic half-day retreat blending fiery yoga, energizing breathwork, and bold expressive art. Aries is the spark, the first flame, the instinct to begin and this workshop channels that energy through the body and onto the page.

We begin with a heat-building movement practice to awaken vitality, encourage courage, and clear hesitation. Breathwork sharpens focus before you shift into gesture drawing and bold line work. Working with a live figure model, you’ll explore movement, instinct, and the power of unfiltered mark-making.

This is a day for risk-taking, expansiveness, and trusting your creative fire.

In July
Cancer + Vessels of Belonging

Themes: Home | Nurture | Ancestral Waters | Memory

Sunday, July 19th, 1:00pm-5:30pm, 2026

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

This nurturing art and yoga retreat honours Cancer’s themes of home, memory, and nourishment through slow movement, breathwork, and the creation of clay vessels.

Following a gentle, heart-forward yoga sequence, you’ll move into hand-forming Japanese-style tea cups—simple, handle-less, deeply personal. Using impressions from botanicals gathered on Nectar’s land, each vessel becomes a container for memory and belonging.

This workshop will be co-led by Sara Skuce of The Burrow on Bowen Island, who will guide both the hand-building of Japanese tea cups and the creation of a botanical-stamped clay pendant; all pieces will be professionally fired and glazed in traditional cobalt hues at her Bowen studio and ready for pickup or shipment four weeks later (shipping available for an additional fee).

In November
Scorpio & The Art of Returning

Themes: Depth | Underworld | Shadow Work | Rebirth

Sunday, November 1st, 1:00pm-5:30pm, 2026

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

A transformative half-day retreat combining somatic movement, grounding breathwork, guided writing, and Kintsugi-inspired art.

We begin with a slow, stabilizing yoga practice to support the body as it moves toward inner depth. Through guided journaling, you’ll write a letter to love or loss, held gently before being released in a communal fire ritual. In the art session, you’ll create Kintsugi-inspired collage boards using ash, ink tones, and gold accents—honouring the beauty of repair and the power of rebirth.

The retreat ends with the creation of a tiny pocket altar, a symbolic container holding what you choose to carry forward.
